1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to every customer of Oculus Freight and to each of its users, including:
- office staff;
- drivers;
- contractors;
- AI apps and AI agents that act for any of them.
The customer is responsible for all of them (Terms section 2). Words defined in the Terms mean the same here.
We may act on anything we reasonably believe or suspect breaks this policy (section 10).
2. Protect the Service
Don't:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service. Don't try to work out its source code, models, model weights, prompts, tool descriptions, algorithms, data structures or non-public APIs. That includes model-extraction and similar attacks.
- Scrape, crawl, data-mine or extract data from the Service by automated means. That includes robots, scripts, browser extensions, headless browsers and data aggregators. Use only the exports in the Service and our AI connections and APIs, within their limits.
- Access the Service in any way other than through the interfaces, APIs and AI connections we provide. Don't frame, mirror or copy its interface, or overlay anything on it.
- Probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission (Terms section 11).
- Get around any security, login, permission, usage limit, rate limit or other restriction. That includes using multiple accounts, changing configuration, rotating credentials or IP addresses, or using AI apps or other tools.
- Overload or disrupt the Service. Don't send more requests than a person could reasonably make by hand, except through our APIs and AI connections within their limits.
- Upload or send malware, or anything meant to damage, intercept or take over a system or data.
- Share logins, sell or transfer accounts, or use someone else's account.
- Open a new account after we've closed yours, or open one for someone whose account we closed.
- Help, encourage or allow anyone else to do any of the above. Don't make or distribute tools that do them.
3. No competitive use
Don't:
- Access or use the Service if you are a Competitor, or on behalf of one, without our written consent.
- Use the Service to monitor its availability, performance or features. Don't benchmark it, or analyze it for competitive purposes, whether or not you publish the results.
- Copy the Service's features, design, layout, content or workflows, or build anything that imitates them.
- Use the Service, its output, or data obtained from it to build, train or improve a competing product or AI model.
- Use the Service to solicit our customers or users for a competing product.
4. No fraud or deception
Don't use the Service to:
- Commit or help freight fraud. This includes:
- double brokering;
- re-brokering a load without authorization;
- fictitious pickups;
- cargo theft;
- false claims of operating authority.
- Impersonate any carrier, broker, shipper, driver, government agency or other person. Don't use another company's DOT or MC number without its permission.
- Create, alter or submit a false or altered document. That covers rate confirmations, bills of lading, proof of delivery, invoices, inspection reports, permits, insurance certificates, driver qualification records and receipts.
- Falsify or tamper with hours-of-service records, logs, ELD data, inspection results, mileage, fuel or IFTA data.
- Misdeclare hazardous materials, weights or cargo.
- Run phishing, social engineering, money laundering or payment fraud. Don't submit invoices for services that were never provided.
- Mislead anyone about who is sending a message or what it is.
5. Respect people and their information
Don't use the Service to:
- Track, monitor or record anyone without the notices and consents the law requires.
- That includes using location data for purposes unrelated to work.
- It includes tracking after the person's work has ended.
- It includes tracking that the law doesn't allow.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse anyone, including drivers, dispatchers, brokers and our staff.
- Discriminate unlawfully in hiring, pay, discipline, assignments or termination.
- Make a decision with a legal or similarly significant effect on a person based only on automated output, without a person reviewing it.
-
Collect or upload information you're not allowed to have. Without our written agreement, don't upload:
- biometric identifiers;
- payment card numbers;
- sensitive health information.
Drug and alcohol test results go only into a feature built for them, and under 49 CFR Part 40 confidentiality. 6. Use information from the Service as a consumer report, for example to screen job applicants, outside the Fair Credit Reporting Act. 7. Post or share anyone's personal information to expose or shame them. 8. Use the Service to defame or disparage anyone, including Oculus Freight.
6. Messages
When you send messages through the Service by text, email, Telegram or the driver app:
- Get and keep the consents the law requires. That includes TCPA consent for automated texts and calls.
- Honor opt-outs promptly.
- Follow CAN-SPAM and state telemarketing and messaging laws, including quiet hours.
- Identify yourself as the sender truthfully. Don't use misleading subject lines or sender details.
- Don't send spam, chain messages or bulk messages to people who didn't ask for them.
- Don't send recruiting messages to drivers without their consent.
We may block, delay or limit messages that we believe break this section. You pay any fines that carriers or regulators impose.
7. AI rules
- Don't try to make our AI features or AI connections ignore their instructions or safety controls. That includes jailbreaking, prompt injection and hidden instructions in documents or emails.
- Don't use AI features to create forged or misleading documents or messages.
- A person must review AI drafts and output before they are used or sent.
- Where the law requires, tell people that a message was written or sent automatically.
- Don't use AI connections to collect data for training AI models, or to extract data systematically.
- Your AI apps and agents must follow this policy. What they do through the Service counts as your own action.
8. Follow the law
- Comply with all laws that apply to your business and to your use of the Service. That includes:
- FMCSA and DOT rules;
- state transportation, tax, privacy and employment laws;
- anti-corruption laws.

- Don't use the Service to transport, arrange or promote anything illegal.
- Don't use the Service to break anyone's intellectual property or other rights.
9. Safety
- Drivers must not use the driver app while driving (49 CFR 392.80 and 392.82). Use it only when safely parked, or hands-free where the law allows.
- Don't use the Service as an emergency service, or for safety-critical decisions without a person checking. Call 911 in an emergency.
10. What we may do
If we reasonably believe or suspect a breach, we may, without notice and in any order:
- investigate;
- ask for information, or for a written confirmation that you comply;
- remove or disable content;
- pause AI connections or users;
- suspend or close accounts;
- preserve evidence;
- report to law enforcement, FMCSA or other authorities, and cooperate with them.
Section 7 of the Terms also applies, including liquidated damages for data extraction and injunctions. We aren't liable for good-faith actions under this policy.
